History of the Truck Center Ducke
The TRUCK CENTER DUCKE has existed on Teutonenstrasse in Hammer Westen since 1978.
In 1978, motor vehicle master Klaus Ducke set up his own business with five employees
Ten years after it was founded, Klaus Ducke, who retired in 2010, received
the “Entrepreneurial Chair of the City of Hamm” as an award.
Son Jens Ducke, who has been with the company since 1982, took over management in 1997 and has been the sole owner in the second generation since 2010. Jens Ducke modernized the workshop, optimized the processes and had an eye for developments.
The TRUCK CENTER DUCKE fully meets the booming motorhome market with its repair, maintenance and service offerings. Whether maintenance work, emissions or general inspections, gas testing, warranty work, conversions, extensions and installations, everything is available here from a single source. The TRUCK CENTER DUCKE is primarily for dealers for Benimar (Trigano Group) and VANTourer (Eurocaravaning Group), as well as a service base for Bürstner, Frankia or Morelo bodies.
The Ducke team also looks after the installations of well-known accessory suppliers such as DOMETIC, Goldschmitt, Alde, Truma, Eberspächer, Webasto, Alpine and many others. The repair of thermal walls in modern motorhomes and refrigerated vehicles is part of our range of services. The TRUCK CENTER DUCKE is also your contact in the event of accidents or damage to the exterior.
Investments of around one million euros ensure a constantly increasing quality in addition to the 40 well-trained and advanced employees. The two large new halls are striking. 700 square meters are now available for the maintenance and repair of motorhomes, caravans and FIAT vans alone. Ducke has always offered qualified vehicle construction. For this purpose, an additional hall of 300 square meters with a hall height of a good eight meters was added, which enables all conceivable repairs in the commercial vehicle sector. The also new, 30 meter long test lane with brake test stand, axle load scale and axle joint play tester has the option of simulating full load on commercial vehicles using a hydraulic pull-down device. “This will be mandatory for general inspections and safety inspections from 2020,” says Jens Ducke, justifying the investment.

The repair and trading of new IVECO commercial vehicles, used trucks of all brands as well as the repair and maintenance of vehicles of all manufacturers will of course continue to be the core business of the TRUCK CENTER DUCKE.
As a service partner for FIAT Professional and IVECO dealers, the TRUCK CENTER DUCKE enjoys a very good reputation. In 2017, the family business was ranked second among IVECO emergency service workshops and was recently recognized by IVECO for excellent service!
The family business, run by Jens Ducke, is securely managed in the commercial area by his wife Ellen Ducke (authorized signatory) and by the third generation with daughter Isabel Siemer (with the company since 1998) and daughter Viktoria Ducke (since 2008). Both daughters are trained business economists and have power of attorney.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich habe einen schwedischen Freund der Probleme mit seiner Alde Heizung hat. Diese läuft eine Zeitangabe auf 12 Volt , geht dann aus und es kommt die Fehlermeldung Batteriespannung zu gering, bedient man dann das Bedienteil sieht man das alle Batterien voll sind und nach ca 30 Minuten Laufzeit der Heizung geht diese wieder auf Störung. Können Sie uns bei diesem Problem helfen? Meine Freunde kommen im Oktober nach Deutschland und fahren dann weiter nach Portugal.
